After working as an attorney and in the venture capital fields I spent 7 years with Microsoft before moving into independent consulting in the development field. Most of my consulting work has involved technology and information management in health and microfinance. My focus is careful research and analysis producing sound strategies supporting careful execution leading to measurable results. Past clients include the Gates Foundation, Grameen Foundation, Microfinance Information Exchange (MIX) and USAID.  I hold a Ph.D. in Political Science from Rutgers University and and J.D. from the University of Colorado.
