Microlinks is being re-launched and adding new features and functionality, which will enable it to be a dynamic, collaborative learning environment. More important, Microlinks will leverage an array of experiences, resources, and expertise to encourage and promote knowledge flow among practitioners, USAID, partners, and other organizations.
The Microlinks community can tap into "know-how" by connecting with colleagues with their profiles; participating in Speakers Corners in the Learning Marketplace; searching and filtering results in Library Resources; reading, rating, and commenting on documents and resources; accessing field tested practices in the Good Practice Center; and, joining or starting a new community.
USAID's vision for microenterprise development involves addressing the needs of poor people within the context of globalization and dynamic domestic and global markets to help them harness the resources they need to participate meaningfully in markets.
